A Little about the artist.
Chris McAlindon is photographer, designer, and artist living in Linden, MI. Born in Flint in 1983, Chris considers himself the best looking and most talented of five children. Although his siblings may disagree, he hasn’t often listened to them in this lifetime, and neither should you. Drawing – and art in general – have been a lifetime passion. Ever since Chris arranged the novelty fridge magnets to read “2+2 = watermelon,” his mother and father knew he was destined to be an artist. Because, well, he sure as hell wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist. Later in life, Chris traded in his crayons and stencils for a tablet, when digital art and graphic design came into the picture around 2004. While photography had been a hobby for many years, Chris only began shooting professionally in 2014. You can imagine his elation when someone informed him that people pay for this sort of thing. A jack of many trades and a master of one or two, he also practices tattoo, in addition to metal and woodwork. He enjoys the outdoors, smoked meats, strong drinks, and when possible, beautiful company. Lifetime goals include meeting Kanye West and figuring out what’s making that little clicky noise inside of his camera. Having recently accomplished the latter, Chris would like to say that if you’re reading this, Mr. West, that first part was a joke. If Chris could ask God one question, it would be whether or not crabs think fish can fly.
